El 17 de noviembre de 1919 se firm\u00f3 el Tratado de Comercio entre Paraguay y Jap\u00f3n, que estuvo a cargo del canciller Eusebio Ayala y el ministro plenipotenciario de la Embajada de Jap\u00f3n en Chile, Shichita Tatsuke.
