Durante el encuentro, se debatieron pol\u00edticas conjuntas para el desarrollo del sector agropecuario en la regi\u00f3n y se analizaron las recientes directrices y legislaciones internacionales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El directivo de la Asociaci\u00f3n Paraguaya de Productores de Soja (APS), Eno Michels, en declaraciones a Valor Agr\u00edcola, destac\u00f3 que uno de los principales temas discutidos fue las exigencias ambientales impuestas por la Uni\u00f3n Europea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Michels enfatiz\u00f3 la necesidad de que las reglas sean claras y rec\u00edprocas, afirmando que hasta ahora han recibido imposiciones unilaterales de la UE. \u201cSi quieren algo diferenciado, debe haber un pago por eso; buscamos reciprocidad y respeto a las leyes de los pa\u00edses del Mercosur\u201d, expres\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Adem\u00e1s, Michels critic\u00f3 la percepci\u00f3n que tiene la Uni\u00f3n Europea sobre Sudam\u00e9rica, sugiriendo que a\u00fan lo ve como una \u201ccolonia\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Por su parte, Santiago Bertoni, exministro de Agricultura y Ganader\u00eda y asesor de la UGP, afirm\u00f3 que la agricultura es el motor de nuestros pa\u00edses y destac\u00f3 el orgullo por los acuerdos alcanzados para proteger el medio ambiente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cMucho antes de que se convirtiera en una imposici\u00f3n global, ya asumimos esta responsabilidad\u201d, coment\u00f3.
